Healthy diet:

Say no to junk food.!yes you have read correctly.. There is a connection between junk food and the health of your hair. Unhealthy foods increases the levels of toxins in the body leading to many health disorders including hair fall. Your hair follicle is also living just like other parts of your body and it needs proper nutrition for its healthy growth. leafy vegetables, green peas, chick peas etc., are a good food for your hair.

Stress:

Giving much negative vibrations to your brain? Then you should know that your hair absorbs them and becomes weak. So be happy and let your hair also be happy and healthy.

Hot water:

If you often see your hair look more drier and frizzy when you step out from bathroom then check out if you used hot water instead of cold water for washing your hair. Hot water opens up the pores and let the moisture leave your hair follicles. This results in dry and brittle hair making your hair very weak.

Healthy life style

When you go out and feel thirsty,its good to choose water than carbonated drinks and if you prefer coconut water then you are being very kind to your hair in providing the right choice of food it needs for its growth.

Coconut

Aloe Vera

This is a very effective herb for treating hair fall. It maintains the PH as well. Slice out the upper portion of aloe Vera and apply the gel directly to your hair roots. Leave it on for an hour and wash with cold water.

Neem

Neem is known for its medical properties for beauty as well as for health. When coming to hair fall,take neem leaves and boil it in water till the water level come to half of the level. Then sieve it,collect the water,cool it down and rinse your hair with this.do this once a week for a healthy hair.

Point to be noted: If you use this water to rinse your hair after applying the above tips then it would be an added benefit for you.

Amla

Boil dried amla in coconut oil till the oil turns black. Apply this to your hair in the place of the normal hair oil you use in your routine.This will not only make your healthy from the roots but will also make your hair jet black because of the presence of amla in it.

Onion

Onion juice works wonders for hair fall.!just take an onion and crush it to make a paste. Then squeeze the juice from it and apply this directly to your hair. If you cant bear the strong smell,you can mix it with a little bit of rose water. Allow this for an hour and wash with a mild shampoo.

Coriander

Make coriander leaves into a paste and crush the juice from it. Make this into a consistency that you can easily apply to your hair.to make this more effective you can mix this with any of the mask listed above. Apply this and leave it for 1 hour then rinse with cold water.repeat this once in a week.

9 Hair Masks for dandruff: Get Rid off

Dandruff is one of the irritated problems of the hair. It can be reason for hair fall too.!   Masks give Good result for Dandruff and Home remedies for Dandruff also Available,Try it. Done any one of this once in a week will be able to treat dandruff at a faster rate.
Try it on…………..

Yoghurt and black pepper mask:
Take 2 tablespoons of black pepper and add this to a cup of yoghurt. Apply this pate to scalp and leave it for 1 hour. Then wash off.
Lemon juice and coconut oil mask:
Take 1 table spoon of lemon juice add 5 tablespoon of coconut oil. Apply this to scalp and leave it for 20-30 minutes. Wash off with a mild anti dandruff shampoo.
Onion mask:
Take an onion and make it into a paste.apply this to scalp and leave it for 1 hour. Later wash away with water (better if few drops of lemon added in it,to remove the odor of onion)
Besan and curd mask:
Take 4 tablespoon of chickpea flour (besan) and mix this in a cup of curd. Add few drops of lemon juice too. Apply this to scalp and leave it for 1 hour.later wash away with water.
Apple mask:
Take 2 tablespoon of apple juice and mix it in a little amount of water,apply this directly to scalp before 5-10 mins of your hair wash.
Lemon and garlic mask:
Take 2 tablespoon of garlic paste and to this add 1 table spoon of lemon. Apply this paste to scalp and allow it for 1 hour. Later wash away with water. If odor still persists wash with a mild and diluted anti dandruff shampoo.
Fenugreek mask:
Take about 100 gms of fenugreek and soak it over night. Next day morning strain it. Collect the seeds and make it into a paste. apply this paste to scalp and leave it for 1 hour. Do not throw away the strained water.it works equally for treating dandruff. After 1 hour finishes wash firstly with normal water and as a last rinse wash with that strained liquid. Done this regularly,you will have a healthy,silky and dandruff free hair.
Beetroot and henna mask:
Mix beet root paste in henna and apply this to scalp. Leave it for an hour and wash with water.
Snake gourd mask:
Chop snake gourd into pieces and crush the juice from it. Apply this juice to scalp and leave it for an hour. Wash off with water.

By using Some simple Household items you can control the dandruff and there are many natural remedies for dandruff. Here are some  which gives more effective than all other remedies
Tea Tree Oil

This has shown effective results. Just rub Tea Tree Oil on the effected areas regularly. This might be irritating to some people.
Aloe
Aloe
Extract fresh volume from a portion of aloe and apply this directly to the scalp. Allow this for 15-20 minutes. Then wash off with water.
Baking soda

Take 2-3 tablespoons of baking soda in a mug of water and use this as a last rinse of your head bath. You can also sprinkle a little amount of baking soda in the shampoo taken in your palm and wash your hair.
Baking soda removes the flakes effectively. Do this regularly and definitely you will see results.!

Apply Olive oil to affected parts and later comb your hair.This is a temporary way to remove dandruff flakes. Do not apply too much as it may give you a hair an oily look.
Apple cider vinegar

Mix vinegar in water and wash your hair with Apple cider Vinegar. Vinegar is known to treat dandruff effectively.

  • Women who are habituated of applying lipsticks,must take extra care. When applying darker shades or more coats,first of all apply a bit of lip balm and then your desired shade. This will protect your lips from getting dried up. This should be followed especially in the winters to prevent dry and chapped lips.
Biting Lips?
  • Lips secrete an oily substance in little amounts called sebum. This keeps the moisture of the lips locked. Some people have the habit of biting lips in tension or when they are in stress and some even have a belief that the more they bite the more their lips will go red which is absolutely wrong. This damages the lips and also sebum secreted will be of no use effecting the delicate texture of lips. So it is advised to stop this in order to prevent further damage.
  • When removing the lip make up instead of simply wiping away with cotton,you can dampen the cotton balls with almond oil or olive oil and then remove it. This not only will act as lubricant,it also provides nourishment to lips.

       These are the simple ways how you can take care of your hair. Always follow simple and common tips than difficult ones. Here are some points how to make normal hair to a  healthy hair by following simple and basic tips both for men and women.

Washing

            Washing is the most important tip to make your hair healthy.

Oil Before Wash
               Oil your hair before washing. You can do this by warming up desired amount of coconut oil. This will nourish your hair from within and restores its natural oils even after shampooing.   You can either leave your hair oiled overnight and wash it the next day or else you can do it an hour before of your head bath.

Diluted Shampoo
             Always prefer to wash your hair with shampoo in diluted form. This will be gentle and risk free in long run.

Wash Well
            Wash well.  It means you have to wash your hair till the you have applied leaves your hair completely. For this you can first wash your hair with till you get a lot of lather. Then wash it off with plenty of water and apply shampoo again so that if any traces of oil leaves behind it gets washed well.this is because oil residues in hair here and there can damage the silky texture of hair after it gets dried up.

Conditioner

            Then comes the next step which many neglect. It is providing immediate food to your hair once it gets washed off with its oils. Apply conditioner like you apply oil to your hair and massage it gently in the roots. When applying u can concentrate more at the ends which are more prone to split ends. Leave on for 2-3 minutes and rinse it well. Leave-on conditioners which are available in markets now -a-days can be of more use.

Maintain Same Brand
            Now-a-days due to increasing pollution its very important to take care of every small matter.conditioning your hair with the same brand of shampoo gives you better results than using conditioner of another brand.this is because the ingredients of shampoo and conditioner of the same brand fits well together and if we change it we may not get the desired effects.

Luke-warm Water
          For both washing your hair with shampoo and conditioner it is best to use           Luke-warm water since hot water will wash away the natural proteins of the hair fiber.

Do not Rub Strongly
          Once the process finishes gently rub your hair with a soft towel preferably a turkey towel. DONOT rub too strongly since this may cause ends of your hair to split.

Dry Naturally
         Leave it to dry naturally. Note DONOT use dryer immediately when the hair is damp. This will cause irreparable damages to your hair. Let the hair dry moderately then you can use your dryer at a low speed.

Don’t Comb When Wet
         NEVER comb your hair when it is still wet.allow it to dry a bit then use a wide and gentle toothed comb to brush your hair.

Don’t Let it Starve
        Never let your hair hair starve. Nourish it well with oil now and then.

Eat well

       The thing that is not known and in which some have a false belief is that the less they eat the more they can stay fit which is absolutely false.! The most important of all is to keep your body in a healthy state and for this our body needs fuel. This fuel comes from the food we take. Obviously, this is known to everyone.
         Our body requires food in proper portions. Three times proper food in a day with two times snack time is ideal but how much and what we are taking counts. Taking more proteins, more fiber, moderate amount of carbohydrates and minimal amount of fats is ideal fuel to body.

Regular exercise

       Well, this is also a known fact to everyone, but on a sad note is not followed by everyone. Exercise is the best way known from years to keep your body fit. It can be done in the form of yoga or in a gym or simple stretching exercises (for household women). Anything is good only when followed regularly.

Sleep

       Giving your body at least 6-8 hrs  sleep repairs the stress(mentally) and tiredness(physically). This makes your body feel light and active for the next day.

Breakfast

       As mentioned earlier, how much important is food to our body, here is one more of such kind. In all the foods we take breakfast is very important. Because it gives a kick-start to your body to work all day long. Statistics have shown that people who do not take breakfast tend to eat more than required food all day long and become tired very easily. Skipping breakfast also increases the amount of bad cholesterol in body leading to many heart related diseases.

Sex

       Sex, Do you think  can be this works as a fitness tip? Yes, it works. Making love burns many calories. It even erases all the stress from mind. Hence this keeps body fit both physically and mentally and also frequent sex keep you 7 years younger.
     Now there are some more points which are so easy to follow but are neglected by many.

Make up your daily routine

        This may sound odd, like will this help in staying fit? but to your surprise, yes it does.!fix a plan of your daily routine in a well mannered way giving time for all the essential works. For instance, it should include the time you spend for exercise, time you spend with your family, at work and the time you plan for rest. Do this and you will find each day more happier than before, because it gives you both physical and mental peace.

Eat fat

       Surprised??but it is true.!eat fat but good fat.in that list comes olive oil,sunflower oil,safflower oil,nuts and avocados.these improve the immune function,lower total cholesterol and regulate hormonal production.

Eat slowly

       Our brain  requires at least  10 minutes to know that the food we took is sufficient for it. So eat slowly to avoid over-intake of food.

Walk a bit more

        Usually will walk less, walk bit more.When parking your vehicle, you can do it a bit more far. This makes you to walk few more steps than usual helping you to cut down your calories.

Water

        When you feel thirsty drink water than soda or any cool drinks. It is calorie-free and it will fulfill your thirsty too.

Ice cold water

        When we drink cold water our body burns more calories for bringing it to normal temperature.
      This point is not recommended for people who are suffering from tonsillitis, migraine and who often catch cold.

Eliminate sugar

         Take honey instead of sugar and lessen the amount of sugar in foods which cant be replaced with honey.

Use Stairs

        Try to choose steps than lift or escalator.

New skills

         Making a new skill to add in your life makes you feel more confident from within yourself that you are capable of learning anything and it also sharpens your mind.
